Fed up with sweeping up devices that break too easily, shattering after a day in the sun, splintering if you so much as look at them the wrong way or simply refuse to pick up the dust?   Look no further as here at Brickyard Cottage Industries we are rebelling against the Ministry of Crap Design with our Damn Decent Dustpan.    Not only is made from that rare commodity  – metal (you know, that stuff that things used to be made from when ‘built in obsolescence’ had not yet been invented) this metal is zinc coated (so it won’t rust for a very very long time) and is ALL RE-CYCLED.

Designed by an engineer (no… really) who despite this lofty title spends a substantial portion of each day sweeping the floor.   Due to the intricate and mature design this dustpan features a slightly sprung curved and fine leading edge that with the application of a light downward pressure hugs the floor and allows the dust to actually go into the pan and not underneath it!

They are STRONG too, just last night our aforementioned lead design engineer boffin tester person could be heard chuckling with bemused delight as he merrily scooped up over 2.5 kilos of metal off cuts in one simple move!
